Meet Dr. Sclafani

Dr Sclafani is a real pioneer of the practice of CCSVI treatment, working in New York.  He has performed many liberation procedures on MS patients.  He is also a courageous pioneer within the medical profession for personally holding a most comprehensive conversation with informed non-professionals within this thread held on the ThisIsMS Forum.  The highly detailed ongoing discussion is best read once some understanding has been gained of scanning protocols and the procedure itself.  Read this for the privilege of being at the forefont of medical science.

NOT PREPARED TO WAIT?

Multiple Sclerosis Surgery

           Multiple Sclerosis Surgery

The prime aims of MS-CCSVI-UK are to raise awareness of CCSVI and to support the commissioning of clinical research in the UK, to prove or disprove Prof. Zamboni's hypothesis.  However we do also recognise that many people with MS do not feel they have time to wait for such research.  We have frequently been asked to provide a list of medical facilities currently providing scans and treatment for CCSVI.  We are not qualified physicians, therefore it is not our role to direct anyone to specific clinics, however the web sites shown here may be able to provide such assistance.
