The intention of both the CCSVI rally outside and the meeting inside the MS Society headquarters on 26th May is to ask the MS Society of the UK to change certain details on their website regarding CCSVI thereby creating a more positive stance, so as to encourage the Government and medical community to come forward to pursue research on CCSVI.
We intend to demonstrate by gathering on the wide pavement outside the small parade of shops opposite the Society headquarters). Supporters will be handing out information to passers-by and generally showing that they are passionate about forwarding their cause. It would also be useful if people could bring with them some explanation of CCSVI to hand out to passers-by and the local shops. (available to download from this website)
It would be helpful if as many as possible were wearing MS-CCSVI-UK T-shirts (these can be purchased at cost price
from this website) and all those feeling brave might help to make our cause more visible by dressing as plumbers and holding placards with slogans and requests.
Some demonstrators may also be able to bring balloons, (held perhaps on the end of some kind of tube, such as the insulation foam tubes available from DIY shops) to suggest the process of balloon venoplasty of stenosed veins.

MS-CCSVCI-UK intend to deliver a letter to Simon Gillespie, the Chief Executive, and the Society stating our objectives regarding CCSVI and our wish for a dialogue with the MS Society.
